All medical substances in Janusmed Sex and Gender are assigned to one of four classification categories. The classification is based on the amount of evidence for sex differences for the substance found in the literature searches.

Definition of the classification categories:

No sex differences observed or no clinically relevant sex differences observed

No sex differences observed or no clinically relevant sex differences observed
Documentation about the substance have not observed sex differences or documentation about the substance have observed sex differences of no clinical relevance.
