"It is not possible to calculate the PNEC from our data. Data from short-term tests (Algae, daphnia, zebrafish) are available for ciclesonide. In order to calculate the PNEC from short-term test, an EC or LC50-value is needed. Because of the low solubility of ciclesonide, only a very low saturation concentration was reached in the tests, which was not effective. So there is no effective concentration, which could be used for the determination of the PNEC."
