Pharmaceuticals residues in the aquatic environment in Sweden
Region Stockholm analyses tamoxifen in the aquatic environment as part of a screening program. In 2021, the levels were below the quantification limit, but in 2020, tamoxifen was detected in surface water. Tamoxifen has been analysed in national Swedish screening programs of pharmaceuticals.
